If you're going to the RKC, then you already know that there is a very, very high bar to meet in order to pass.  Typically, over 30% don't make the grade...  Since you'll be investing a lot in this process, make sure you get everything you can get out of your RKC weekend by being as prepared as you can be.  The RKC Prep Class is designed to teach you what you need to know in order to pass with flying colors.   Andrea U-Shi Chang RKC, has a 100% success rate with her students - here is what Senior RKC and cert team leader Jeff O'Connor had to say:

"I recently had the pleasure of meeting one of Andrea's students. She was a member of my group at a recent RKC certification weekend. Not only was she a standout within our group, but within the whole group. She came in as well prepared, with excellent technique and conditioning. It was certainly no accident..."

This class is by invitation only, so contact Andrea at andrea@kettlebility.com for an assessment and an invitation to join.

HKC - The First Hardstyle Kettlebell Certification: An honor to be assisting at the very first one!

When I found out that the HKC was in the works many months ago, I knew that I wanted to be front and center for the momentous occasion.  Any chance to be involved with Pavel and the other Master and Senior instructors is a chance to learn, learn, learn!  My goal was to bring the HKC to the Northwest, so I called John Du Cane and negotiated a spot at the table.  So, on September 26th, I found myself checking HKC candidates in at the door, handing out manuals and name tags, posting team lists, picking up garbage, answering questions, and generally being as helpful as possible.  Other than Pavel, the Master and Senior instructors in attendance, there were very few RKCs, as they hadn't really planned on needing assistants...but boy were they wrong...

More HKC Success Stories:

Since high school I have tried just about every method of training a person can think of to "get in shape."  I've been in and out of gyms, tried every machine that a gym has to offer, and even tried one on one sessions with the gym's trainers.  I've also trained at home, read bodybuilding books, fitness magazines, you name it.  It wasn't until I discovered the kettlebell that I finally realized...
